Connect Call Service provided for seniors
Due to language barriers, Chinese-, Korean-, or Vietnamese-speaking seniors may encounter the situation of living in social isolation. We are able to help and encourage them to have contact with the outside world, participate in the community, get social support and assistance when needed, increase their sense of belonging and enhance their quality of life while they live in Australia.
Our trained volunteers can give telephone calls to those seniors regularly and give them care and support. For more information on this service, please have a look at the following flyer:

Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme
Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) is funded by the Australian Government, and designed to enrich the quality of life of older people who are isolated from the community.
Our volunteers regularly visit Chinese-, Korean- or Vietnamese-speaking care recipients – either from subsidised aged care facilities or Support at Home. Volunteer visitors and care recipients can enjoy their time by building friendships and companionship, such as chatting, reading, listening to music or reminiscing. At the moment, our services cover the Greater Sydney area.
