CASS Gumnut Early Learning Centre – St Leonards (SLELC) is a not-for-profit, community-based long day care centre that has proudly supported families since 2010.

We provide quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, and Vacation Care for school-aged children, offering the guidance, encouragement and opportunities they need to learn, grow and thrive with confidence.

Our purpose-built centre is designed to create a warm, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, filled with natural light and spaces that invite exploration and creativity. Children enjoy two spacious outdoor playgrounds that promote active play, curiosity and a connection with nature through meaningful hands-on experiences.

Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF v2.0), My Time, Our Place (MTOP v2.0) and the National Quality Framework, we offer a holistic educational program that nurtures each child’s strengths, interests and cultural identity. Our goal is to create an environment where every child can belong, learn and flourish – both indoors and outdoors.
