CASS Gumnut Early Learning Centre – Campsie (CELC) is a not-for-profit, community-based long day care centre that has supported families since 1985.

We provide quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, helping each child learn, grow, and thrive with confidence.

Our welcoming environment offers flexible routines and play-based learning that nurture curiosity, independence, and wellbeing. With a large outdoor play area, plus sensory and vegetable gardens, children explore, discover, and build a deep connection with nature.

Our qualified, experienced educators design meaningful programs in partnership with families, reflecting each child’s interests, culture, and strengths. Programs include school readiness, STEM learning, environmental education, and excursions and incursions—all created to inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

e provide quality education and care for children aged 0 to 12 years in a warm, home-like environment where they can play, learn, and grow. With more than 40 years of experience supporting families, our service team has extensive knowledge of early childhood education and care.

Our educators are carefully selected and supported to follow the National Law and National Regulations, guided by the National Quality Framework, ensuring a safe and high-quality environment for every child.

Families using our service are eligible for the Australian Government Child Care Subsidy (CCS).

Our Team

CELC has a dedicated team that includes hands-on management personnel actively involved in the daily operations, as well as highly qualified educators with extensive experience in early childhood education. Our educators deliver tailored lessons aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, fostering a nurturing environment for young children. We believe that each team member brings unique and valuable skills to the centre, and we support one another in achieving our collective goal of providing exceptional service for our children and families.
